How do u identify Allah's divine answer?

Some say... its in the calmness of the heart.
Some say... u can find it in your dreams.
Some say... well... you'll know it.

How do i know?

by something tangible, like reading or investigating the scary past?
or.... it is really about belief? and the courage to forget the past and trust the hope of the future?

I'm scared.
